Polished Gold
#eeaa55
Deeper, slightly muted gold for grounded accents
About Polished Gold
Polished Gold looks like a bright brass coin under a clean studio light. It's not the tighter, more bell-like punch of Shiny Trumpet, and it's not the citrusy, nearly tangy lift of Pani Puri. Compared to Artisans Gold, it sits higher in lightness and reads more high-polish and crisp than earned honey warmth.
I use it for UI moments where you want "gold" to feel current, not toast. Think retail product cards, loyalty and rewards badges, and premium controls in ordering flows for food, beauty, and hospitality. It also works well on web media thumbnails and feature highlights that need label-friendly emphasis on light backgrounds without tipping into orange heat.
One quirk: because it's light and saturated, it can feel a bit assertive next to very pale creams. I'll usually pair it with ink-gray, deep olive, or a darker gold sibling so it stays confident instead of loud.
