Powder Room
#eee0dd
Powder-soft gray with a subtle rosy lift
About Powder Room
Powder Room looks like a freshly turned page where the paper has been softened by daylight and a light wash, not tinted blush. It sits in the Gray family, but it's notably more muted and more neutral than Hint of Pink, so you get less of that pink-leaning shimmer. Compared with Milk and Cookies, it doesn't feel chalky or kitchen-counter creamy, it stays smoother and calmer. And against Pearly, Powder Room reads a touch warmer and less "pearl-dusted," so it won't tip into that cooler rose sheen.
I use it when the UI needs a soft, handled background that still feels intentional. It's great for editorial and retail product pages where fabrics, packaging, and skin tones need to stay natural, and it works well in dashboards and finance apps when you want quiet contrast without going sterile. Typography lands cleanly, and imagery doesn't pick up an unwanted rosy cast.
One quirk: keep it away from very golden creams. Pair it with cooler whites or mid-grays and it holds its composure.
