Silent Snowfall
#eef7fa
Neutral cool gray for crisp panels, less blue
About Silent Snowfall
On a gray UI mock, Silent Snowfall reads like the top sheet of ice over a window, not the blue tint of Diamond White and not the soft, restraint of Morning Mist. It's extremely light, but it keeps its gray character instead of drifting toward an arctic whisper like Heart of Ice. The result feels quietly cool and low-saturation, more about clean calm than crisp edge.
I use it when the page needs to feel airy without turning into true white. It's a great fit for medical dashboards and clinical software, especially behind dense tables, filter panels, and form chrome where you want separation without feeling sterile. It also works well in logistics and retail planning screens that show lots of surfaces at once, where the gray has to stay neutral-ish next to both cold and warm content.
Quirk: place it next to strong blues and it can look a touch grayer than you expect, so I usually pair it with a slightly darker neutral for hierarchy rather than leaning on temperature alone.
