Smidgen of Love
#f0ccd9
Soft warm rose-pink with rosy blush warmth
About Smidgen of Love
It looks like the inside of a rose petal after the light's softened, not a fully pink wash. Smidgen of Love sits between Ballerina's retreat and Berry Butter's denser warmth. It's lighter than Berry Butter, but it doesn't turn airy and silvery the way Icy Pink does. The undertone stays clearly red-based, with just enough rosy lift to feel friendly without going sweet.
I use it for product UI that needs a gentle "care" tint while still reading as grown-up. Think skincare and wellness subscription cards, empty-state panels in health tracking apps, and inline highlights for onboarding steps where you want support, not decoration. It's also my go-to when I need the one you reach for in form backgrounds and subtle chips, especially alongside near-whites and soft neutral surfaces.
Quirk: because it's fairly pale, it can blend into very low-contrast layouts. If it's disappearing, nudge the surrounding tones warmer or darken the neighboring surface so the tint holds its place.
