About Pie Crust

Pie Crust looks like the inside of a warm, baked crust photographed next to pale green stock paper. Compared to Double Cream, it's less milky and more dry, with a tighter lightness that feels closer to pastry dough than cream. It also skips Hazy Moon's misty softness; you don't get that foggy green wash. And versus Igniting, it's not as clear or awake, staying a touch quieter and more beige-leaning.

I use Pie Crust when the background needs to read light without going yellow, especially in food brands, wellness studios, and small-batch kitchens where the UI or packaging still has to feel grounded. It's great behind product cards and ingredient callouts in e-commerce, and it works for editorial CMS modules where you want soft structure without turning the page into a warm marquee. Pair it with charcoal type and leafier greens for contrast that won't flatten.

Quick note: because it sits dry and beige-forward, too much it can start reading more neutral than green, so keep a green accent nearby.
