Muted moonlit yellow-green for softer, gentler contrast

About Hazy Moon

I keep noticing Hazy Moon in mockups as that pale green-family wash that looks like light fog over paper. It's not buttery like , and it doesn't have 's denser, more intentional pigment. Where Creamy Ivory risks going nearly blank beside white, Hazy Moon holds a little more color presence, with a muted, misty green tint that stays soft.

It reads warmer than cool pale greens, but it's still lightly saturated, so it won't compete with product photography or dense typography. I use it for marketing landing pages for home goods, recipe or wellness brands, and the kind of editorial modules where sidebars need to feel airy, not washed out. It also works on light-mode UI surfaces for dashboards and finance apps when you want calm cards and panels without the background stealing attention.

Pair it with deeper olive, cocoa browns, or charcoal. If you stack it next to stronger yellow-beiges, it can tip slightly hazier than you expect, so check it in context.
