About Enoki
Enoki is the one that almost isn't there. It's so pale it reads more like a whisper than a choice, but unlike Amnesiac White, it carries enough soft green undertone to keep it from feeling institutional. You notice the difference only when you've placed something darker next to it, that's when the undertone wakes up, just slightly, and the color stops disappearing entirely.
This works best in product dashboards, publishing platforms, and long-form reading where you need a background that's warm enough to feel human but restrained enough to stay out of the way. It sits between Buttermilk's intentional cream and Good Morning's aggressive neutrality, lighter than both, with a hint of something growing underneath. Use it for body text on dark surfaces, editorial layouts, or anywhere you need the page to feel soft without the saturation bump.
The catch: pair it with anything cooler than mid-tone gray and you'll feel that green lean forward. It wants darker anchors around it to settle. Alone, it's almost invisible. That's either exactly what you need or a problem waiting to happen.
