Meringue
#f3e4b3
Meringue warmth, paler than custard greens for calm UI
About Meringue
I think of Meringue as cream that stayed airy. It's very light, softly tinted, and reads more beige-honey than green haze. Compared with James Blonde, it doesn't feel as honeyed or honey-forward; it's cleaner and less "painted," more like a pale frosting wash. Versus Crème de la Crème, it carries a touch more color density, so it doesn't melt into the page as easily.
What I reach for is the one you reach for when you need a warm-ish Green family background that won't behave like pure paper or turn too yellow at scale. It works in CPG and food packaging comps for labels and ingredient blocks, and in product UI where you want type to sit on something gentle: dashboards and wellness interfaces get a calmer, more noticeable canvas than Flan, which is cooler and more muted. I like it for category headers in ecommerce, too, when Banana Mania would be too committed and Gentle Glow would be too green.
Quick quirk: on true white, Meringue can look slightly more tan than you expect, so check it beside your actual UI neutrals and confirm the undertone stays friendly.
