Grape Taffy
#f4daf1
Lighter grape-cool pink for soft UI gradients
About Grape Taffy
Grape Taffy reads like a candy wrapper held slightly away from the light: unmistakably pink, but not the loud kind. Compared to Bunny Tail, it has more pigment, so it won't disappear into background neutrals. Compared to Bubblegum Crisis, it stays smoother and less punchy, with a lower-saturation softness that never feels defiant. And next to Blackberry Yoghurt, it's lighter and airier, not muted into that in-between grayish haze.
I reach for it when I want a friendly "yes" without the candy-hot aggression. It works in on-screen confirmations, soft CTA states, and onboarding steps where you still need clarity. In product surfaces like beauty and skincare landing pages, it gives a playful lift while staying more controlled than Bubblegum Crisis. I also like it for wellness and lifestyle UI where the brand tone should feel sweet, not retro-loud. Pair it with warm creams or light rose for a clean glow, or contrast it against charcoal for legibility.
One quirk: because it sits on the lighter side of the pink family, it can wash out if your typography is too thin.
