About Milk Foam
Fresh foam on a cappuccino: it's light, but it doesn't feel like blank paper. Milk Foam lands slightly greener and airier than the other near-whites, so it reads less like "default background" and more like a deliberate, soft wash. Relative to Amnesiac White, it has more body and presence instead of fading into near-invisibility. Compared with Ceramic, it stays fresher and less cream-warm, so it won't tip toward that gentle, creamy softness.
I use Milk Foam for interfaces that need to feel clean without turning sterile. Think health and wellness portals, onboarding screens, and reporting pages where you want panels, table chrome, and form surfaces to sit back while still looking intentional. It's also great for dashboards and finance apps when you want calm contrast without the faint yellow-cast Milk can bring. The one I reach for when a layout needs a warmer-than-cool read but not the heavier butter tone.
Pair it with medium grays and soft charcoals; with very cool silvers it can start to look a touch too airy.
