Pastry
#f8deb8
Dusty, creamy green for gentle borders and cards
About Pastry
Pastry looks like a lightly baked sugar shell: pale, creamy, and just a touch more muted than the usual "butter" creams. It sits in the green family, but it's not pulling toward the peachy-gold warmth of Lion's Roar, and it doesn't drift into the tighter, less-yellow restraint of Cameo. Compared to Butter Up, you still get the softness, but it doesn't show off extra yellow.
This is the shade I use when the background needs to feel warm and friendly without turning the UI noticeably beige. I reach for it on dashboards and finance apps when the canvas has to stay gentle around data, plus in publishing templates, recipe interfaces, and consumer product pages that need readable contrast with darker greens and charcoal. It's the one you reach for when you want "cream" that won't wander.
Quirk: place it next to the warmer creams (like Lion's Roar) and it reads calmer; pair it with deeper green accents and it holds shape instead of fading into the layout.
