Pork Belly

Rosy blush-gray for airy, soft highlights
About Pork Belly
I keep circling back to Pork Belly when I want a gray to feel skin-close, not candy-pink. At a glance it reads like a pale blush tint over a gray base, but the pink is quieter and denser than the softer, more restrained options nearby. Compared to Cake Frosting, which turns noticeably peachy, this stays cooler and more rose-leaning. And unlike First Crush, it doesn't ask for attention first. It just sits there, calmly confident.
In UI, I like it for health and wellness interfaces where the background needs to feel gentle without turning saccharine. It also works well on beauty product pages and editorial layouts that pair text-heavy sections with photography, because the shade holds onto softness while keeping typography readable. The vibe is more "soft cover" than "accent," which is why the one you reach for when you're building warm-gray systems and don't want the pink to spike.
Pair it with charcoal or warm stone neutrals, and avoid overly cool grays as direct companions, or the undertone can start to look a touch dusty rather than flattering.
