Hint of Red
#f6dfe0
Light gray with a restrained red blush undertone
About Hint of Red
I keep seeing Hint of Red show up as that pale gray that refuses to stay fully gray. On white paper it looks almost like a whisper, then under cooler screens it warms up just enough to notice. It's warmer than a pure gray, but it doesn't carry the pink-forward softness of Blowing Kisses, and it doesn't have Fresco's more deliberate, saturated presence.
This is the one you reach for when you want a background that feels gentle without looking rosy. Think health platforms, data-heavy editorial pages, and quiet UI in customer portals where you need comfort around forms and body copy. Compared to Discrete Pink, it has a touch more color-body, so it won't vanish into pure whites. Still, it stays subdued, unlike Cake Frosting which performs warmth more openly.
Pair it with cool grays for structure, then bring in a soft red or dusty mauve only as small accents. If your layout already has lots of pink nearby, this shade can start to read redundant fast.
