Star Dust
#f9f3dd
Warmer, slightly dusty light gray for airy panels
About Star Dust
I keep coming back to Star Dust when I want the page to feel airy but not paper-white. On my mockups it reads as a soft, pale gray with a gentle beige lean, so it sits lighter than most grays without turning into a warm cream. It's also less powdery than Lunar Luxury, less sun-kissed than Painter's Canvas, and it stays more neutral than Satin Cream White, so it doesn't slide into that obvious "cream" territory.
Use it for luxury packaging layouts, beauty brand interfaces, and editorial grid backgrounds where you want the typography to breathe and product details to stay crisp. It's the kind of clean stage that makes warm blacks and smooth gradients look intentional instead of blotchy. I also like it in commerce UI for panels, hero sections, and image-led cards, especially when the copy is mid-gray and you want the whole interface to feel calm, not creamy.
Quirk: place it next to very yellow creams and you'll notice Star Dust feels cooler and more controlled, so I usually pair it with neutral or slightly cool accents to keep everything consistent.
