Promenade

Luminous cool gray-beige for crisp, airy panels
About Promenade
I keep coming back to Promenade when I'm trying to make a layout feel softly set back, like sunlit paper that's been handled a lot. It reads warm-gray but not creamy. Compared with Diamond, it's not nearly-white and whisper-thin. Compared to Flickering Firefly, it pulls the yellow down and levels out the beige so it feels more gray than sand. And unlike Full Moon, it doesn't lean into warmth hard enough to look overtly cream.
For interfaces, I'd drop Promenade behind editorial typesetting and product surfaces where you want calm without getting flat. It works well in documentation and knowledge bases, admin screens, and e-commerce back offices where body copy needs a steady stage. Pair it with dark graphite type and muted blues or soft charcoal accents so the background stays supportive, not loud.
The quirk: because it's still light, it can make low-contrast grays disappear. Test against your actual screenshots, especially if your content has lots of mid-tone imagery.
