Drover
#fbeb9b
Lighter drover gold-green for crisp, airy sections
About Drover
Drover looks like a pale pasture under overcast light. It's still clearly yellow, but the green family shows up through a soft, powdery undertone, so it reads less like pure custard and more like sun-warmed hay. Compared to Eggnog, it's less milky and less "coated," with a dryer feel. Versus Cream and Butter, it keeps its brightness without sliding into that butter-textile warmth.
For UI, I like Drover when you want a light field that stays in the green family but doesn't feel acidic like Chickery Chick. It's a good fit for onboarding screens, muted cards, and form-heavy layouts in e-commerce admin and health and wellness products where you need optimism without leaning retro. Think hero backgrounds for editorial galleries too, especially when the rest of the page is restrained.
One thing to watch: next to stronger yellows it can feel a touch airy, so pair it with olive-gray, ink slate, or cocoa browns to keep the page grounded. It's the one I reach for when "warm" needs a gentler, green-tinted edge.
