About Emptiness

Emptiness is so close to white you'll almost miss it exists. Unlike , which adds warmth to soften the blow, this one stays nearly neutral, almost colorless. It's the shade that disappears fastest, the one that makes you question whether you're actually looking at color or just paper.

Reach for it in minimalist interfaces, editorial layouts, and light mode dashboards where the background should feel like background, nothing more. Product pages, reading apps, wellness software, anywhere you need maximum restraint and maximum legibility without the slightest temperature shift pulling attention. It won't fight with cool grays the way does, and it won't hint at life the way does. It just recedes.

The trade-off: pair it with anything dark enough and it'll vanish entirely. On light backgrounds alone, you might not see a difference between this and actual white, and that's actually fine. It's the color you use when you've already decided the content matters more than the container.
