About Lemon Burst
On a light interface mock, Lemon Burst looks like buttered light that stayed pale instead of turning golden. It's warmer than pale creams but less pigment-rich than the nearby Crème Pâtissière, so it doesn't feel "painted on." Compared with Cantaloupe, it's not as airy, and it reads more settled than that softer, non-demanding yellow.
I use Lemon Burst for light editorial layouts, SaaS screens, and hospitality background sections where you want warmth to show up, then get out of the way. It plays nicely with sage and soft greens, and it doesn't lean amber enough to start competing with charcoal type the way deeper yellows can. Versus Golden Coin, you get less reflective gold energy and more of that close-to-cream lift, so it stays calm behind photos.
One quirk: on very bright off-whites it can ghost a touch. Test it next to your exact base so it doesn't disappear, especially if you're layering large blocks behind imagery.
