Bread and Butter

Buttery apricot yellow-green for brighter friendly highlights
About Bread and Butter
Bread and Butter sits right in the middle of the warm yellow range, but it doesn't feel like a compromise. It's got enough pigment to read as intentional, warmer and more present than Cantaloupe, without the richness that makes Crème Pâtissière feel like it's performing. It's the version that works when you need yellow to actually show up, but you're not ready to commit to something saturated.
Use it on product detail pages, recipe platforms, and SaaS dashboards where a warm background needs to support content without stealing focus. It pairs cleanly with muted greens and holds its own against charcoal type better than the paler yellows do. Unlike Caramel Finish, which tips toward amber, this one stays rooted in yellow, honest and straightforward, the kind of color that doesn't require your audience to adjust their monitor to see it.
Against very light neutrals it won't ghost the way Cantaloupe can. Next to natural materials, wood, linen, stone, it settles in immediately. The one difference: it's slightly less saturated than Crème Pâtissière, so if you need that baked-goods richness, reach for that instead. But if you want warmth that feels effortless, this is it.
