Burning Fireflies

Hot red glow, less magenta, more ember
About Burning Fireflies
Burning Fireflies sits lighter and less saturated than everything around it in this corner, it's the one that doesn't need the volume turned all the way up. Where Berry Blast leans fuchsia and Chinese New Year demands the room, this one whispers without getting lost. It's still red, still reads fast, but it's got air in it.
Reach for it in interfaces where attention matters but desperation doesn't, health dashboards, notification systems, secondary alerts that still need to land. It scales down better than the heavier reds because the lightness keeps it from getting muddy at icon sizes. It works in fintech and product design when you need something that catches the eye but doesn't feel like it's screaming. The saturation's high enough that it won't disappear next to cool grays, but it's not fighting for dominance the way Burning Raspberry does.
Against warm backgrounds it'll push toward pink, same trade-off as its neighbors. Test it early if you're anywhere near beige or cream. The real difference is the lightness, it's the approachable version of this red family, sharp but not aggressive.
