Tiger of Mysore

Spiced, deeper orange for bold, high-contrast accents
About Tiger of Mysore
Tiger of Mysore reads like a high-signal orange with a softer edge than the hot streaks of Bonfire. I notice the undertone right away: it leans more golden and slightly earthy, less flame-pure and less fruit-blush. Compared to Nectarine's cleaner apricot brightness, this shade is a touch deeper and more saturated, so it doesn't feel as "juicy."
In UI, it's the orange I pick when the UI needs warmth and authority without drifting into Coral's reef-neutral center. It shows up well in dashboards for retail and logistics, alert-lite states in consumer fintech, and seasonal branding for CPG packages that need presence on shelves and in product grids. It also holds up in icon sets and section tabs where you want orange to feel grounded, not candy. Pair it with cream, toasted sand, and dark espresso backgrounds for contrast that doesn't go harsh.
Just be careful: on very pale, cool surfaces it can skew too serious, so keep neighboring neutrals warm.
