Pineapple Gold
#ffc72c
Sunlit mellow gold for softer highlights than Bumblebee
About Pineapple Gold
I keep seeing Pineapple Gold as that first bright slice of fruit on a light cutting board, all sunny and clean, but not the sheer neon blast. It's warmer than pure white and slightly less "fuzzy-loud" than Bumblebee, because it leans golden instead of electric. Compared with Orangina, it dials back the orangey tang and lands more like ripe gold than juice. And next to Mikado Yellow, it feels a touch higher-energy and more yellow-forward, with a smoother, sweeter edge.
I use it when the UI needs clarity plus lift without turning into "urgent" yellow. It's great for product cards in marketplaces, banner callouts in food delivery and grocery apps, and checkout attention states where you want confidence, not anxiety. It reads especially well on cool neutrals and charcoal, and it holds its own beside deeper greens without drifting.
Quick note: on very warm creams it can look flatter than you expect, so I'll anchor it with cooler whites, dark borders, or a richer background to keep it crisp.
