Plastic Cheese

Plastic Cheese looks like a bright yellow piece of hard plastic under kitchen lights, with a faint green wink that never turns buttery. Compared to Endless Summer and Mamba Yellow, it's less honeyed and less highlighter-sharp. It also feels lighter and more plastic-smooth than Goldenrod, which reads warmer and weightier.

In UI, I use it as the one you reach for when you need a clean, attention-getting highlight that stays in the Green family without getting "warning-loud." It's great for product callouts on CPG pages, status chips in retail stock widgets, and ingredient or step highlights in food and wellness experiences. In dashboards, it works best for small emphasis states rather than big banners, since its green-lean keeps it from collapsing into straight golds the way warmer yellows can.

Pair it with deep green text or olive outlines to keep the undertone intentional. Next to muted olives, it stays legible because it's more light and airy than the denser neighboring yellows.
