Sunflower Island
#ffcd01
Golden, saturated chartreuse-yellow for bold callouts
About Sunflower Island
Sunflower Island reads like a ripe yellow sitting just before it turns into banana bread. It's noticeably brighter than Goldenrod, but it doesn't feel thick or honeyed, and it stays cleaner than Mamba Yellow, which comes off more saturated and slightly punchier.
Compared to Plastic Cheese, this one feels less hard-edged and less "highlight tape," with a gentler, sun-warmed undertone instead of that faint green wink. I use Sunflower Island as the one you reach for when you need optimism with clarity, especially for product callouts on CPG and wellness pages where you want attention without the sharper, more plastic vibe. It also works well on retail media landing banners for promo tags and campaign chips, where it should look cheerful over light backgrounds and not drift into deeper gold.
Pair it with medium or dark greens, not olive-black. Next to very green-leaning yellows, it can look flatter, so give it contrast with a crisper green stroke.
