Malibu Sun
#fff2d9
Softer warm beige-gray for sunlit interface panels
About Malibu Sun
I keep catching Malibu Sun as I scroll mockups, that pale peachy cream that feels slightly lit from the side. It's warmer than pure white, but it doesn't go full yellow like Escargot. Compared to Creamy Cloud Dreams and Blank Canvas, it holds its warmth more confidently, so it doesn't fade into "almost white."
For me it's the one you reach for when you want a soft background presence in places like lifestyle e-commerce, packaging previews, and editorial layouts where the page has to breathe. It also holds up in dashboards and finance apps, giving charts and type a friendlier surface without turning the whole interface into a golden room. Dark text stays crisp, and photography has enough separation to keep its contrast.
One quirk: if your product imagery already leans yellow, Malibu Sun can tip the overall cast. In that case, pair it with cooler grays or back off to a quieter off-white.
