Stereotypical Duck

Open your Figma file to a light gray UI and drop this shade behind a toolbar. "Stereotypical Duck" reads like a pale, milky straw that stays softly warm, but it's more subdued than the buttery creams next to it. Compared with Natural Wool, it feels lighter and a bit less grounded, so it won't anchor the page as much. Versus Lunar Luxury, it's clearly friendlier in temperature, not the slightly silvery, powder-clean vibe.

In practice, I use it for dashboards and finance apps when the product needs warmth without turning the background into cream. It works well under dense tables, helper text, and filters in SaaS workflows, and it's a solid choice for documentation sites that still want a human, not clinical, tone. Compared to Hint of Yellow, it has less obvious sunny punch, so typography stays the star and the layout doesn't feel too highlighted.

One caution: if you pair it with very dark cool grays, it can make outlines look tighter and slightly more contrasty than expected, so I usually warm the divider color or soften the text weight.
