About Wakame Green
Wakame Green looks like sea glass that's been handled a lot, not freshly tumbled. It's a blue-green that stays calm, with a slightly deeper, cooler undertone than the more straightforward Pacific, and less "split" between notes than Aqua Obscura or Beau Vert. Where the others feel like they're hovering between blue and teal, Wakame Green locks in as clean, grounded teal-leaning green.
For UI, I use it when I want the one you reach for for highlights that won't wander. It works well in healthcare dashboards and onboarding flows where you need attention without the aggressive punch of saturated neighbors. Compared to Pacific, it has more green pigment in the mix, so it reads richer on real content. Compared to Beau Vert, it's cooler and less glassy, so it doesn't shift as noticeably toward blue-green on different displays.
One quirk: on very warm monitors it can feel a touch darker, so pair it with crisp light grays and test any thin text states early.
