Later Gator
#008a51
Softer teal-leaning green for subtle highlights
About Later Gator
I keep Later Gator for the moments when green needs to feel alive, not leafy-spring or purely office technical. It sits darker than the bright, billboard greens people try first, but it doesn't go flat and mossy. Compared to Center Field, it has a slightly different undertone and a more deliberate, "ink-on-paper" depth instead of that straightforward dark-mode confidence.
It's my go-to when you want green that reads rich without getting heavy, especially in maps, ops dashboards, fleet and logistics UI, and product screens where status colors have to stay consistent across lots of clutter. Against Moss, it holds more presence and less weathered softness. If you're building medical interfaces or real-time monitoring views, this one stays legible while still looking human, not clinical.
Pair it with cool grays or near-black charcoals, and give it room. Next to warm creams it can tilt the overall vibe a bit greener than you planned.
