Fresh mid-green for crisp, balanced UI sections
About Center Field
Center Field is the green that actually performs in dark mode. It's darker and more saturated than Bulma Hair, but it doesn't carry Clover's austere weight or Bejewelled's jewel-box precision. There's real depth here, but it stays approachable, the kind of color that works harder than it looks.
Reach for this in maps, data visualization, medical interfaces, and any product where green needs to read as both trustworthy and legible. It holds its own against dark backgrounds without disappearing, reads clean on light ones without that clinical flatness, and settles into mid-tone contexts where lighter greens would wash out completely. It's the practical choice when you need green that doesn't apologize for existing.
Pair it with cool grays or charcoal and it locks in. Against warm neutrals it opens up a little, gains presence. The one thing to watch: surround it entirely with pure black and it can flatten slightly, so give it at least a touch of contrast breathing room.
