Ice Ice Baby

Picture typing on a frosted phone screen: the light is cool, but it doesn't glare. Ice Ice Baby lands as a very light, minty-blue wash, more pastel than the sharper cys around it. Compared to Ice Temple's milky, airy frost look, this one is cleaner and more uniform. Compared to Arctic Water's near-backlit punch and Cyan's dead-center, utility-ready confidence, it feels quieter, less urgent, and less neon.

I use the one you reach for when the UI needs "cold" without the alarm. Think health and wellness apps, e-commerce checkout states for "on hold," onboarding steps that shouldn't feel high-stakes, and editorial-style info panels where you want legibility and a calm tempo. It's also great as a hover tint or soft selection background over deep UI layers, especially when you don't want the accent to steal attention the way Arctic Water can.

Pair it with deeper navy or muted steel so it doesn't wash out, and watch warm photos. On textured surfaces it can read slightly minty, so test it against the exact imagery you're using.
