Blackn’t
#020f03
Inky green-black for low-light emphasis, not neon
About Blackn’t
Blackn't sits right at the edge where green stops being a color and starts being an idea. It's barely there, so close to black that you'll second-guess whether it's green at all until you put it next to something truly dark. Then it lands. There's actual hue underneath, not just depth. It reads as green first, but it doesn't announce itself.
Use it on dark mode dashboards, app backgrounds, and editorial spreads where you need something that holds weight without competing with text or lighter elements. It works harder than Cosmic Bit Flip because it keeps enough saturation to feel intentional rather than accidental, and unlike British Racing Green's aggressive precision or Alligator Gladiator's earthy warmth, this one stays neutral and recessive. It's the color for when you want green in the room but you don't want green stealing the show.
The thing: it'll shift darker depending on what surrounds it. Keep test files close and test at actual size before you commit. It rewards a steady hand and punishes guessing.
