Pestering Pesto

Chewy blue-green for high-visibility UI highlights
About Pestering Pesto
Pestering Pesto is the green I keep seeing in the margin of a spreadsheet before it turns into "we should fix this later." It's a medium, earthy green that reads greener than the garden-labeled Herbalist's Garden, but it doesn't go as cool or formal as Islamic Green. Compared with Grass Is Greener's louder, marker-bright vibe, this one feels slightly calmer and more grounded, like it's been mixed down instead of freshly printed.
I use dashboards and finance apps styling when you want a "go" state that stays legible over long rows without looking like a warning light. It's great for manufacturing and logistics UIs, especially on chips for in-progress workflows, inventory status, and exception tracking where your eyes are doing a lot of scanning. The undertone is the tell: it sits more yellow-green than the cooler picks, so it feels less austere than Islamic Green while avoiding the extra sunshine that Grass Is Greener can throw off next to strict neutrals.
Quirk: on very pale backgrounds, it can feel a touch muted. Pair it with a cleaner, slightly bluer green for hover/active, and it stays crisp instead of sleepy.
