Sacro Bosco
#229911
Deep yellow-green for bold, confident UI blocks
About Sacro Bosco
Sacro Bosco reads like darkened forest paint that's been allowed to settle, not a bright status green. It's noticeably deeper and more restrained than Grass Is Greener, so it doesn't feel like a marker stroke. Compared with Herbalist's Garden, it's less yellow-warm and less "workbench herb" calm. And next to Islamic Green, it's not as medium-cooled or formal, it leans richer and slightly more muted in mood.
I use Sacro Bosco when the UI needs dashboards and finance apps that still feel grounded, but not heavy. Think industrial manufacturing exception tables, warehouse aisle maps, procurement approvals, and product release monitoring where "green" needs to look confident without popping off the page. It holds saturation while staying legible on light cards, but it won't drift toward the lawn-bright cheer of Grass Is Greener or the softer garden leaning of Herbalist's Garden.
Quirk: because it's the deepest of this set, pair it with clean grays or near-black typography so it doesn't feel swampy beside warm neutrals. the one you reach for when you want calm authority, not flash.
