About Olympian Blue
Olympian Blue reads like a saturated indigo edge caught between paper and glass. It's cooler than the other purples, but it doesn't go thin or icy the way "wet-glass" blues can. Compared to Dancing Sea, it's less liquid-smooth and more structured, with a firmer purple core instead of that mid-depth, ocean-glass clarity. And versus Night Mode, it has more color weight and a cleaner signal, not that dimmed, softened badge feeling.
I'd use Olympian Blue for dashboards and finance apps where you need a primary highlight that stays confident in dense tables and settings screens. It also works well in media streaming products for selected tabs, playback state accents, and channel focus in player chrome, especially when you don't want the highlight to feel as plush or heavy as Le Grand Bleu.
Quirk: on very light, cool grays it can tip slightly more indigo than you expect, so check it next to your neutrals before you commit. Go with it when you want the one you reach for energy without drifting toward the deeper, calmer "ocean dye" look.
