Nuit Blanche

Deep blue-violet for high-contrast, night UI layers
About Nuit Blanche
There's a moment when a storefront sign reflection pools on night pavement, and Nuit Blanche feels like that pause between deep and bright. It's a Purple that stays purposefully dark without turning murky. Compared with Cascade Twilight, it doesn't lighten into that higher, determined confidence, and compared with Dancing Sea it has a cleaner, more deliberate edge instead of a smoother ocean-glass pull.
This is the shade I use for dashboards and finance apps that need a focused accent state, not a glow, especially for key actions, selected tabs, and card borders on both light and dark UIs. It also shows up nicely in media streaming interfaces for "primary" playback chrome where you want the highlight to read the one you reach for in dense controls.
One quirk: on very cool greys it can look slightly more stern than the warmer purples, so sanity-check it next to your neutrals before you roll it everywhere.
