About Le Grand Bleu

Le Grand Bleu looks like deep ocean dye poured into glossy UI glass. It's richer and slightly more saturated than , with less of that velvety haze. Compared to , it keeps more purple depth instead of drifting into an icy blue "wet-glass" clarity. And unlike , it doesn't feel chosen and bright-leaning. This one sits heavier and calmer, more plush than punchy, with a cooler undertone that stays controlled.

I use it for dashboards and finance apps where the highlight needs to feel decisive but not aggressive: primary buttons, selected states in BI filters, and top-level navigation accents in telecom and logistics admin. It also works well in media streaming interfaces for channel focus and player chrome, especially when you want the purple to read as the primary highlight without competing with brand photography.

One note: on very light, slightly warm backgrounds it can pull toward indigo, so test against your grays before you lock it in.
