Maritime Outpost
#1e4581
Softer violet-blue for calmer, outpost-level UI edges
About Maritime Outpost
I keep thinking Maritime Outpost looks like a damp night signal on a harbor wall: not as deep as Pacific Navy, not as night-heavy as Nuit Blanche. It sits a touch lighter and more saturated, with a clearer purple tone that doesn't drift indigo the way Olympian Blue can. The undertone feels maritime and controlled, more "anchored" than reflective.
For dashboards and finance apps, it's the accent I use when you want focus without the stern navy weight, especially for selected states, key CTA chips, and card headers sitting beside blues and cool grays. In media products, it plays well as the primary playback chrome highlight when you want the one you reach for emphasis that reads decisive, not slippery. I also like it in logistics and operations consoles where the UI needs to feel steady, not glowing.
Quirk: because it's more saturated than those darker neighbors, pair it with restrained neutrals so it doesn't steal attention from your data hierarchy.
