Night Edition

Cool, mid-dark blue for focused night-mode UI
About Night Edition
At night, this shade looks like a calm display backlight, not a deep ocean spill. Night Edition is a medium-dark blue with a steadier, slightly restrained look than the teal-leaning Deep Lagoon, and it stays cleaner than Night Shift's more slate-tinged calm. Compared with Blue-Collar, it has less "primary" punch, but it reads more controlled on dark surfaces, like it belongs in the UI grid.
I use Night Edition for medical dashboards, fintech platforms, and dark-mode interfaces when I need blue to hold its ground without demanding a white canvas. It works well for section headers, active states, and chart accents where the interface is already busy. The mood is dependable rather than urgent, and the temperature shift keeps it from feeling like the same blue you see everywhere.
One note: on very cool gray systems it can look a touch muted, so pair it with grays that have a little depth to them, not just the lightest "UI white" equivalents.
