About Saltwater Denim
Saltwater Denim reads like a wet-street blue on the edge of denim, medium-dark but not heavy. Compared to Blue-Collar's brighter, leading presence, this one is steadier and more muted, so it doesn't shout as a primary. And unlike Moroccan Blue's warmed punch, Saltwater Denim stays bluer with a calmer, slightly neutral undertone.
In product dashboards and data tables, it's the blue I pick for section headers, selection states, and chart series when I want clarity without that "underwater faded" feeling deeper blues can give. It also works well in healthcare interfaces where you need emphasis that feels composed, not clinical, and in fintech screens for links, cards, and active row highlights on light backgrounds.
Quirk: because it's more reserved than Nautical Creatures, it pairs nicely with cool grays and soft off-whites, but next to near-cyan tones it can look a touch subdued.
