Crude Banana

Crude Banana sits at that awkward sweet spot where green stops feeling like a color choice and starts feeling like something that grew there. It's lighter and less saturated than Candy Green, which means it doesn't scream for attention the way that one does. There's yellow in it, sure, but it's muted enough that the green still reads as the main event. It's got some warmth, but it's not trying to be friendly about it.

You'll hit it in product interfaces, health apps, and data dashboards where you need green to feel present but not alarming. Agriculture software, garden planning tools, sustainability reports, growth metrics that don't need to feel urgent. It works better on mid-tone and light backgrounds than Battletoad does, it doesn't get thin or stretched the way purer greens do. Against darker neutrals it sits there with actual weight, but without the clinical detachment of Alienated or the pure confidence of Battletoad. This is the one that feels approachable without being loud about it.

Pair it with warm grays and off-whites and it settles in naturally. Push it onto pure black and it needs a little more breathing room than you'd think, or it starts reading more neon than natural. It's not the color for urgent warnings or aggressive CTAs, that's where Candy Green earns its keep.
