Hunter
#33534b
Muted blue-green for calmer UI than Evergreen
About Hunter
Hunter reads like a blue that's been grounded. On my screen it comes off cooler than Enchanting Ivy, with a darker, more restrained depth that doesn't flirt with teal or green. It's noticeably less "shimmer-ready" than Iridescent, and it feels weightier than Evergreen without turning heavy or murky.
I use Hunter when the UI needs a calm authority, especially in healthcare admin panels and internal reporting tools where backgrounds, tables, and sidebars should stay steady. It also holds up in dashboards and finance apps when you want focus states and headers that feel firm but not aggressive. Compared to those neighbors, this is the one you reach for when you want blue clarity without Enchanting Ivy's muted warmth, and without Evergreen's lighter, more approachable lift.
Pair it with crisp off-whites or cool grays, and keep accent blues a touch lighter so the darker base doesn't swallow your hierarchy.
