Witches Cauldron

Warm gray with witchy depth for side panels
About Witches Cauldron
I think of Witches Cauldron as a nearly-black gray that still feels like it's holding a soft, smoke-thick atmosphere. It's darker and a touch more muted than Shuriken, so it doesn't read like clean machined metal. Compared to Professor Plum, the undertone stays firmly gray, not that faint violet tint you can sometimes spot on edges.
In production UI, it's my go-to when I want dense typography to feel grounded without drifting toward the extra neutrality of Coal Hard Truth. It shows up well for dark video editor panels, control rooms in broadcast tooling, and ticketing dashboards where the background should disappear but never feel lifeless. The mood is quieter than the near-black baselines, with slightly softened contrast so thin separators look less brittle.
One quirk: because it's so low-key and slightly desaturated, very cool whites can look a bit sharp next to it. I usually nudge dividers and type toward neutral-warm to keep the whole stack calm.
