Dark & Stormy

Dark & Stormy feels like a night sky that's gone a shade closer to ink. It's not the flat gray haze of Forlorn Cruise, and it doesn't carry that heavier, slightly earthy warmth Black Turmeric has. This one stays distinctly purple while landing a touch cooler and more controlled.

I use it when the purple needs to read as solid UI color, not a compromise. It works in dark mode interfaces for primary accents, bold chart series, and status badges where you want clarity without the steel-blue edge from Blue Funk. Compared to Bonne Nuit, it holds its undertone better and keeps more separation from navy, so your hierarchy feels cleaner. Pair it with cool neutrals or crisp whites. With warm grays it can start to feel heavier than you intended, like the UI is lowering its voice.
