Windsurfing
#3a7099
Brisk medium blue with balanced sea-wind lift
About Windsurfing
I keep seeing Windsurfing on the waterline of a coastal app mock, where the blue feels breezy but still disciplined. It's a medium blue with a clean, slightly lighter read than Naval, and it doesn't have Muted Blue's office-worn softness. Compared to Queen Blue, it leans more airy, less settled, with a more directional, outdoorsy energy.
I use it for dashboards and finance apps when I want hierarchy to feel quick and current without tipping into the darker chart-table authority of Naval. It's great for navigation bars, map-ish panels, status chips, and selected filters in SaaS admin screens that need to move fast. In logistics reporting consoles and investor decks, it works as that "active" blue on segment labels and secondary CTAs, especially alongside light grays and crisp typography.
Quirk: it reads a bit cooler than Queen Blue in dense UI. If the rest of your palette is warm, nudge it with warm whites or cream grays so it doesn't feel too crisp.
