Muted Blue

Muted mid-blue with cool, desaturated focus
About Muted Blue
Muted Blue looks like the kind of blue you'd trust on a wall that's been in the office too long: calm, worked-in, and never shouting. Compared to Naval, it gives up some of that firm chart-table seriousness and reads more softened and slightly more approachable. Compared to Blue Triumph, it leans less sky-forward and less pushy, with a lower-energy saturation that feels more settled than chosen.
I use it for dashboards and finance apps when the UI needs hierarchy without the "loud primary" effect. It's great for section headers, secondary buttons, and selected filters in SaaS admin screens where the page already has charts doing their job. It also behaves well in operational media, like logistics consoles and investor deck bars, where you want the blue to hold together but not dominate next to neutrals.
Quirk: this shade can feel a touch cooler than Cry Me a River, so pair it with warm whites or cream grays if you want the interface to feel less clinical than the sharper darker blues.
