Woodland Night

About Woodland Night
Woodland Night looks like damp slate under a forest canopy: a deep gray that doesn't go to coal black, and doesn't lift into silver. Compared to Still Waters Run Deep, it's a touch more saturated and more grounded, with less of that settled-ink softness.
It's the kind of dark-gray I use when I want structure without the hard edge of All Nighter. It sits between "serious" and "workable," cooler than Dark as Night but less clinical than the near-charcoal feel you get from a true black-read. I reach for dashboards and finance apps too, but especially in admin surfaces where cards, dividers, and data grids need a darker anchor that still feels breathable. Think logistics portals, insurance underwriting tools, and clinician record views where the UI has to stay legible for long sessions.
Pair it with lighter, neutral-warm grays; next to colder backdrops it can feel a bit heavier than you expect.
