Verdant Hush

Picture a gray note pad left beside a potted plant, where the light has softened everything. Verdant Hush sits in that space, but it's not just green. It's a gray with a muted verdant undertone and a slightly higher lightness than the darker greens in your gray pile, so it feels present without going muddy.

Compared to Ancient Pine, this one doesn't recede as much. It holds the surface more evenly, with less of that pulled-back softness. Versus Black Forest, there's less obvious green spine and less soil warmth, so it reads calmer and more neutral. And against Armadillo, it's not that cool-still steadiness; it carries a gentler, leaf-tinted hush instead.

I use it for editorial UI surfaces, e-commerce content blocks, and the mid-tone panels in dashboards where you want data to stay crisp. It also plays well in wellness, food, and craft brand systems. Just watch contrast against very dark grays, because the undertone can make type look a touch less sharp than you expect.
