Tree of Life
#595d45
Deep moss olive for primary UI grounding
About Tree of Life
Tree of Life looks like fresh bark mixed into a dark leaf stain. Compared to Cypress, it has less dry, olive-brown pull and more true green presence. It's darker than Monstera, but cleaner and less smoky than Broccoli Green's muddy turn.
I use it when I want foliage that feels intentional, not earthy. It's a great choice for packaging for botanical skincare and craft beverage labels where you need depth beside creams and unbleached paper. In UI, it works well for editorial section blocks and data-dense dashboards where you want a calm base without letting the green flatten into gray. This is the one I reach for when the background needs to hold attention through long scrolling.
Quirk: keep your neutrals on the warm side. With cool grays it can start to read dull and a touch heavy, especially on large panels.
