Stream Burble
#5e7e7d
Gray-leaning teal for muted charts and sidebars
About Stream Burble
On a bright monitor, Stream Burble reads like a blue-green mist clinging to the edge of a puddle. It's noticeably softer than North Atlantic, and it doesn't get as earthy or grounded as Paradiso. Compared to Arctic, it has more midtone presence, but it stays calmer than those louder, greener-leaning teals.
For UI, I reach for it when I want a selected state, links, or small chart accents that feel calm and current without turning gray-dull. It works well in dashboards and finance apps where navigation needs to feel lightly "on," and in logistics or healthcare portals for secondary buttons and section headers. The temperature is just cool enough to stay professional, but the undertone is bluer than the green you'd notice in Jade-adjacent teals, so hierarchy stays clean.
Pair it with off-whites or light stone. If you put it next to deeper nav blues, it can look almost washed, so test the contrast with your real typography weight and grid.
