Phantom

About Phantom
Phantom is the gray you notice on a ceiling tile after lights have been on for hours. It reads steady, slightly cool, and a touch more softened than the sharper grays in the same family.
It sits at about the middle ground where Catfish feels a bit more grounded and warmer, and Blue Blood shows more obvious blue energy. Phantom has less saturation overall, so it feels more like a muted haze than a color with a temperature. Compared to Stormy Sea, it doesn't go as watery or airy; it holds its weight a little better on UI surfaces.
I reach for Phantom in dashboards and finance apps where secondary panels need to stay calm, but not fade. It also works well for document management and healthcare admin screens, especially for form containers and inactive states. Pair it with deeper text for clarity, and don't stack too many other mid-grays together or it can start to feel flat.
